POLE DANCE
Pole 0 (beginner)
This introductory pole dance class is designed for absolute beginners with no fitness background required. There is no need to tone up or take any fitness classes before starting this class, as we will work on everything you need in this class and have fun at the same time!
In this level, you will learn the fundamentals of pole fitness techniques and strength building. You will learn basic spins and tricks, floor work and transitions – tricks in this level will include climbs and sits. This class will provide you with all the skills you need to move onto Pole Level 1. We recommend attending Pole 0 until you are comfortable with climbing the pole – however, you may take this class for as many times as you want until you feel ready to progress to the next level.
Prerequisites for this class: no prerequisites
Pole 1 (advanced beginners)
This class is for beginners who are very comfortable performing basic figures such as: front climbing & basic spins. Students must have successfully completed Pole 0, or had previous experience with pole fitness. During this level you will learn basic tricks, new spins and we will work on creating flows and combinations of moves. The primary goal is to help you gain the strength, conditioning, and mechanics for more advanced aerial moves in the next level.
Prerequisites for this class: Pole 0
Pole 2 (Intermediate)
This class is only for Intermediate that are very comfortable inverting and confidently perform leg hangs. This level spends a lot of time upside down!
You will learn various tricks and combos. Moves will include, "shoulder mount", "superman" and "butterfly" as well as preparation for advanced moves such as "jade", "Ayesha" and "handspring".
Prerequisites: Pole 0 & Pole 1 - (or if trained in another studio & have prior approval by the instructor).
